COOK IV
The Four Seasons Resort Lāna'i is looking for a Cook IV who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our teams' have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorization required.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Cook IV is an entry-level culinary position responsible for preparing and plating menu items in accordance with Four Seasons standards. This role focuses on mastering one station, learning product knowledge, and building consistency in preparation and presentation. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Prepare and plate dishes according to recipes and standards

  • Maintain daily mise en place and station setup

  • Follow proper food handling, storage, and rotation practices

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

  • Communicate effectively with senior cooks and kitchen leadership

  • Demonstrate professionalism and uphold Four Seasons service standards

  • Support timely and accurate food service to guests

WHAT TO BRING
  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States

  • Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card

  • Culinary knowledge is required for this position, and employees will need a basic culinary tool kit (e.g. tongs, whisk, spatula, knifes, etc.)

  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts

  • Weekend and Holiday availability required.
