Job description

PackerJob Classification – Non-Exempt / HourlyReports to: Packing ManagerLocation: Monroe, WA, 98272
Shift: Swing Shift 2:00 pm to 10:30pm
Pay: $17.50 per hour
Job Summary

At Wet Noses Natural Dog Treat Company, the packer is responsible for packing finished product, which includes direct and indirect contact with food.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Pack finished product into secondary packaging, then into cases, then onto a pallet.
  • Applying labels to product.
  • Using an automatic pallet jack, when warranted, to transport the full pallet from the stacking area to the shrink wrap machine and to the final storage/shipping area.
  • Responsible to report food safety and quality issues to personnel with authority to initiate action (Any member of management and/or supervisor).
  • Wash hands prior to direct handling of food.
  • Follows all SQF/HACCP protocol.

  • Language: Preferably bilingual in Spanish.
