POSITION SUMMARY:
The Wet Lab Technician is responsible for maintaining wet process chemistry for optimum process controls by performing daily chemical analysis, titrations, and making chemical additions base on analysis results.

JOB DUTIES:
โ€ข Maintain all chemical baths in Wet Process department.
โ€ข Perform Chemical analysis, calculate additions and make chemical additions base on results.
โ€ข Make chemical additions and troubleshoot Wet Process issues when related to the chemistry.
โ€ข Perform chemical titrations on required chemical analysis.
โ€ข Document and enter all chemical analysis result on lab wizard software.
โ€ข Follow-up with wet process staff on any pending chemical additions.
โ€ข Train operators and document in a timely manner.
โ€ข Inform Managers and/or engineers of any potential problems.
โ€ข Perform house keeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
โ€ข Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds maximum and stand/walk throughout the day.
โ€ข Flexible to work extended hours base on company needs.
โ€ข Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
โ€ข BS degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry preferred.
โ€ข 2-5 years experience in Chemical Lab, preferably in Printed Circuit Board (PCB) industry.
โ€ข Knowledge of Lab Wizard chemical analysis is required.
โ€ข Knowledge of safety and hazardous requirements for chemistry is required.
โ€ข Knowledge of SPC and Wet Process is a plus.
โ€ข Prior experience and knowledge of PCB production process preferred.
โ€ข Ability to read and understand technical drawings and work instructions.
โ€ข Ability to follow vendorโ€™s formulas for chemical analysis.
โ€ข Ability to train operators and document in a timely manner.
โ€ข Good verbal and written communication skills.
โ€ข Good computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
โ€ข Ability to learn new skills/tasks and grasp new concepts as required.
โ€ข Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves, protective glasses, faceshields, aprons, rubber boots, etc. as well as common forms of rubber and plastic use for PPE.
โ€ข Ability to work within the confines of a room where concentrations of chemicals are located.
โ€ข Must be highly organized, self-motivated, and able to multi-task.
โ€ข Must be flexible to work extended hours base on company needs.
โ€ข Ability to perform at the highest level in a fast-paced environment.

California Salary Range: $23.00 - $28.00 / per hour
