Job description

Required Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate must have:
  • Hands-on mechanical experience with blow molding equipment.
  • Strong mechanical skills in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing production machinery.
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely.
  • Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems is preferred.
  • Experience with filler equipment is a plus.
  • Ability to complete changeovers and machine adjustments.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and make good decisions during production.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills to enter work orders and maintenance notes.

Physical Requirements
The employee must be able to:
  • Lift up to 75-100 lbs when needed.
  • Stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the shift.
  • Work in a loud, fast-paced production environment.
  • Work around production equipment, moving parts, and wet areas.
  • Follow all required PPE and safety rules.

Work Expectations
This is a hands-on position. The Blow Molding Mechanic must be reliable, safety-focused, and able to respond quickly when equipment issues happen. The main goal of this position is to keep the blow molder running, reduce downtime, support production, and maintain bottle quality.
