OVERVIEW
Archer Western Construction is currently seeking a
Laborer - Pipelayer for the
San Juan Lateral Water Treatment Plant, in
Shiprock, New Mexico.
The Laborer - Pipelayer will perform pipe-laying tasks involving physical labor (laying, joining, wrapping, sealing) on construction jobsites including commercial, industrial, or heavy civil projects; may operate hand and/or power tools as needed; may prepare site and assist with other duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lays, joins, aligns, wraps, and seals pipe sections, clay, concrete, and other type of pipe for water/gas main, sanitary sewer, telephone/electrical conduits
- Ability to work with crew members and operate a variety of hand and power tools including drills, hammers, and other tools as directed by management
- Ability to perform tasks including physical labor as instructed by supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 Years Verifiable Experience Preferred
- Requires ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffold/ladder
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions
- Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly
- Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn
- Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening

CALIFICACIONES
