Job Description

Top Three Skills:

1.) Oracle Architecture

2.) ETL

3.) Data Warehouse

4.) SQL Tuning

5.) Distributed Queries

Job Description:

Marathon has an Accounting Application that is called ProCount.

ProCount monitors all of the data that is being produced by their Wells that are in production. It is an Engineering Application but Accounting/Billing/Finance all use it to make financial decisions on a Well's status.

It currently is having performance issues with its reporting and they need a Senior Oracle Developer/Architect to come in to evaluate what is wrong with the custom code and what they could do to fix the problem.

ProCount is an off the counter purchased application that is typically written in SQL environments but their other Oil/Gas Exploration/Production applications like Wellview, Spotfire, and TOW are all in Oracle so ProCount was custom developed to fit their Oracle environment.

This is a highly visible issue that the CIO has now gotten involved with so they need someone who was very strong Architecture skills and has worked on Oracle applications that are enterprise wide and interact across different departments.

Naved is strong enough technically to know it is an Oracle Architecture and custom coding problem but needs a VERY STRONG candidate to be able to identify the exact point.
