Job description

Paramedic

We are a fast-growing ambulance service proudly serving communities across Ohio, Indiana, Maryland, and West Virginia. Our team provides professional private ambulance services focused on safe, smooth, and dependable patient transport.

We coordinate transportation to local hospitals and healthcare facilities from homes, emergency departments, long-term care centers, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, psychiatric hospitals, hospice programs, and more. From critical emergency responses to scheduled interfacility transfers and hospital discharges, our mission is clear: deliver safe, timely, and compassionate care—every patient, every time.

Position Overview – Day Shift

As a Paramedic, you will play a critical leadership role during one of our busiest operational periods. Day shift operations involve high call volume, frequent hospital discharges, interfacility transfers, emergency responses, and coordinated transports with regional healthcare partners.

This role requires strong clinical judgment, operational awareness, and the ability to deliver advanced life support (ALS) care in dynamic environments. You will serve as the clinical lead on your unit, guiding EMT partners, ensuring protocol compliance, and delivering high-quality patient care under a wide range of circumstances.

Day shift Paramedics must demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, and a commitment to excellence while operating in fast-paced daytime conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls promptly and professionally
  • Provide advanced life support (ALS) interventions in accordance with Ohio state protocols and medical direction
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
  • Administer medications and perform advanced procedures within scope of practice
  • Lead and support EMT partners to ensure coordinated, efficient patient care
  • Safely operate and maintain assigned ambulance and medical equipment
  • Ensure accurate, thorough, and timely documentation of patient care reports
  • Maintain a clean, fully stocked, and inspection-ready unit
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, hospital staff, and healthcare professionals
  • Uphold strict compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
What We're Looking For
  • Current Ohio Paramedic certification or eligibility for reciprocity
  • Strong clinical decision-making and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to provide calm, compassionate, and effective care under pressure
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Commitment to teamwork and high-performance standards
  • Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
  • Reliability and punctuality for scheduled day shift operations

This position is ideal for experienced Paramedics who thrive in structured, high-activity daytime environments and are committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
