About this position

We are seeking a passionate wellness professional/ acute care provider/ to provide ONSITE triage/injury management and one-on-one health behavior change interventions for our construction client partner. You will promote a healthy culture and strive to engage employees in the company's well-being offerings. This candidate will serve as a wellness ambassador and role model.
Responsibilities and Duties

NOTE: You MUST be a Certified Athletlic Trainer through the NATA (not a personal trainer).

- Provide one-to-one health coaching for employees
· Provide triage and acute services to various trades at a construction site
- Lead stretch and flex warm-up sessions for various workers onsite
· Work closely with safety committees, union representatives and foremen to provide wellness education to the population
· Create and deploy health promotion, education, activities and challenges
· Track health behavior change using proprietary health coaching software
· Conduct in-person health risk assessments and biometric screens (training provided)
Requirements:

Exceptional interpersonal, organization and communication skills required
Ability to work autonomously, and manage multiple priorities
Preferred:

  • Experience providing workplace wellness programs and/or wellness education/formal training
  • Experience with construction / manufacturing setting
  • Trained to provide cholesterol and blood pressure screenings
  • Experience with motivational interviewing techniques
  • Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task
  • Adept at counseling individuals from diverse backgrounds

Required: BS Degree in Community Health Education or related field
