  • Continue to shape theSkimm’s email value proposition, delivering our reader unique coverage of what’s going on in the world and why it matters to her
  • Work closely with the Senior Editor and writers to assign and edit content for the Daily Skimm
  • Confidently make editorial decisions around how we cover stories and how we navigate complex topics, with an eye for precision, nuance, and voice
  • Collaborate with other editorial stakeholders on content planning to ensure a steady flow of content that is a fit for the Daily Skimm
  • Work closely with the Senior Editor to identify modules, utilities, and tools that could serve as extensions of our content, ensuring their implementation, execution, and promotion in the Daily Skimm
  • Regularly use data and audience insights to optimize content formats and distribution, and find opportunities to connect these to existing or new products

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • A self-starter who lives and breathes content and is tapped into the conversations women are having online and off
