The Health & Wellness Director RN is responsible for the overall clinical oversight and delivery of resident care within the memory care units. This role ensures residents receive high-quality, person-centered care tailored to individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. The Director oversees nursing services, medication management, regulatory compliance, and staff performance while promoting a safe, therapeutic, and supportive environment. This position is responsible for the planning, organization, direction, supervision, and evaluation of nursing services within the facility.

Health and Wellness Director RN Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides leadership and oversight of nursing staff, including scheduling, assignments, performance evaluations, and policy enforcement.
Oversees staff training, clinical orientation, scheduling, payroll/timecard review, and employee relations matters.
Provides oversight, monitoring, and evaluation of key clinical programs, including but not limited to:
Health and Wellness Director RN Skills and Abilities:
Proven strong management skills, including delegating responsibility to subordinates, performance management, conflict management, and leading through others.
Be able to effectively communicate with a diverse range of audiences and settings: properly handle emotional situations, manage resources to accomplish resident care objectives, assess operational, staffing, and fiscal needs, analyze complex written documents, and work long and irregular hours.
Health and Wellness Director RN Education and Experience:
Physical Requirements:
Walking, reaching, bending, lifting, extended sitting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling, ability to distinguish smells and temperatures, all with or without the aid of mechanical devices is required.
