Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and screenings to determine the needs of patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Facilitate one-on-one counseling sessions and provide crisis intervention for patients confronting various mental health challenges.
• Organize and lead interactive therapy groups focused on skill-building and coping strategies relevant to patient concerns.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to ensure well-rounded patient care.
• Engage in outreach initiatives to raise mental health awareness and promote prevention through workshops and community events.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• A valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, with candidates holding a Master’s or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or adjacent fields preferred.
• Strong understanding of contemporary issues impacting mental health, particularly within telehealth environments.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and therapeutic skills necessary to build trust and rapport with clients.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of demonstrated experience in a clinical counseling role, ideally in a telehealth or outpatient setting.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and brief therapy techniques.
• Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
