Excellent teamwork, adaptability, and effective communication help you coordinate with field crews and relay complex findings clearly. These skills are crucial to ensure accurate test results, safe operations, and effective collaboration in often challenging field conditions.
A typical day in Well Testing involves setting up and operating specialized equipment at well sites, monitoring pressure and flow data during test periods, and ensuring all operations comply with safety protocols. You’ll often work closely with drilling, production, and safety teams to plan and execute test procedures, and prepare detailed reports based on your findings. The role can involve long shifts, outdoor work in varying weather conditions, and sometimes travel to remote locations. This hands-on environment provides a mix of technical challenges and teamwork, which keeps the work dynamic and rewarding.

Medicentres Occupational Health Services has four locations in Western Canada (Saskatoon, Regina, Calgary, and Edmonton), as well as over 200 network partner clinics to serve our clients Canada-wide. We bring more than 25 years of experience in Occupational Health, and our team holds expertise and local knowledge in occupational health services to bear for public and private sector clients across Canada. We are looking for a part-time family physician to conduct Occupational Health Services approximately one half day per week in our Regina clinic.
