Job description

Sideworx Connect offers positions for both employees and independent contractors. We specialize in placing short-term and seasonal employees, allowing you control over your schedule and a chance to explore a multitude of projects.

We're seeking skilled Well Testing Supervisors to join our roster.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage well-testing operations, ensuring safety and efficiency
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of well-testing crews
  • Ensure accurate data collection and analysis during well tests
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during testing operations
  • Maintain well testing equipment and ensure it is in good working condition
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation of well-test results
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
  • Train and mentor well-testing personnel

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in well testing within the oil and gas industry
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role with experience in training and developing well testing personnel
  • Strong knowledge of well-testing procedures, equipment, and safety protocols
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to interpret and analyze well data and accurately
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proficiency in report writing and data analysis
  • Familiarity with the latest well testing technologies and equipment
  • Current certification in First Aid, H2S Alive, and CSO (TDG & WHMIS provided)
  • Physically fit as heavy lifting is required (up to 100 lbs)
  • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
  • Ability to work both independently and with others to support a safe work environment
  • Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule (including night, weekends, holidays, and overtime)
  • Be local to Grande Prairie or can travel to and from (certain jobs may be eligible for Living Out Allowance where camp is not provided)
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License with reliable crew truck & insurance required
