Job description

Mechanical Engineer (P.Eng)
Roska DBO Inc. has an immediate opening for a Mechanical Engineer that will work closely with our team of in-house engineers.
The successful candidate will be registered with APEGA as a P. Eng. (or EGBC or eligible for transfer) with preference given to those with 10+ years experience (7 years minimum). This is a permanent full-time position based out of our Grande Prairie, Alberta office. You'll be rewarded with the opportunity to work for a dynamic and growing company, a work environment where feeling valued and respected is an expectation and competitive benefit and compensation package.
Responsibilities:
  • Input on Pipe Stress Analysis
  • Stamping Pipe Stress Analysis
  • Underground Piping not required but considered an asset
  • Knowledge & Experience Designing/Altering Vessels is an asset
  • Knowledge & Experience with Vessel Software (COMPRESS, PVElife)
  • Skid design for Process Equipment
  • Stamping skid designs (including lift lugs, calculations, drawing)
  • Generating & Authenticating ISOS Mechanical drawings (P&IDS)

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University
  • Registered with APEGA as a P. Eng. (or another Canadian Province)
  • Preference given to candidates with 10+ years experience (7 year minimum)
  • Previous experience with Skid / Building Design; Structural / Pipe Supports Design; Pipe Stress Analysis; Caesar Software or equivalent (e.g. Autopipe)
  • Microsoft Office competence
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
  • Must possess a clean driver’s abstract
  • Knowledge of relevant industry codes (ASME 31.3, BPVC Section VII Div I, CSA Z662, CSA B51, etc.)
