Job Summary

Provide online, classroom and lab instruction in competencies for welding and cutting processes in Oxy-Fuel Systems, Shielded Metal Arc, Gas Tungsten Arc and Gas Metal Arc. These duties include the evaluation & supervision of students, working collaboratively with faculty and staff and completing professional development requirements.

Job Duties:

  1. Provide welding instruction for online, in the classroom & laboratory settings.
  2. Demonstrate current knowledge required by curriculum for welding and cutting processes in Oxy-Fuel Systems, Shielded Metal Arc, Gas Tungsten Arc and Gas Metal Arc.
  3. Work collaboratively with faculty & staff to provide education, evaluation & supervision to students
  4. Complete required professional development trainings required of adjunct faculty.
  5. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate degree AND related work experience AND American Welding Society (AWS) Welding Certifications in one of the following:
    • GMAW 3g or 4g certified OR
    • SMAW 3g or 4g certified
