This position involves assisting with various metal fabrication tasks to assist with making custom parts for the construction, material handling, and heavy equipment manufacturing industries. This role involves working from blueprints and written instructions to ensure projects are completed accurately. Job duties include setting up and adjusting machinery settings, using various power tools, assisting with assembling products, operating saws and bending equipment, and even minor welding.
Hours: 1st and 2nd shift schedules
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate production machinery to cut and shape materials
- Operate saws, drill presses, and bending equipment as needed
- Assemble metal frameworks for various projects
- Assisted with minor welding projects
- Use forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials throughout the facility
Qualifications
- 6+ months of machine operating experience preferred
- Previous saws, drill presses, shear, punch press, and other relevant experience preferred (Experience from shop classes will be considered)
- Experience operating pallet jacks or forklifts preferred

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
