Job description

ATS Welding is rapidly expanding into a full-service industrial construction and welding company with a commitment to safety and quality. We specialize in delivering high-quality projects across the industrial and energy sectors.

We are seeking reliable Welder Helpers to join our growing team! If you’re hardworking, safety-conscious, and ready to play a key role in our growth, we want to hear from you.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assist Welders in performing SMAW, GTAW, and other welding processes in accordance with API 1104 and ASME B31.3 requirements.
  • Assist welders in interpreting technical drawings and specifications to understand the requirements and layout for welding projects.
  • Assist Welders in preparing materials for welding by cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces to ensure strong, quality, welds.
  • Assist Welders in operating and maintaining welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition and calibrated properly.
  • Following safety protocols and practices, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Working closely with other trades and team members to ensure coordinated efforts on the job site.
  • Must pass a preemployment drug test.
