We are currently hiring Certified Pipe Welders for a short-term industrial shutdown project in Towanda, PA. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced welders with a strong background in carbon steel pipe welding.
Job Details
- Mobilization: September 30
- Welding begins: October 1
- Work through: October 7
- Demobilization: October 8
- 10-hour workdays
- Saturday and Sunday work required
- Saturday overtime paid at 1.5x
- Sunday overtime paid at double time
- 5 hours of travel time included in the project bid for both mobilization and demobilization
- $38/hr.
- $150/day per diem
Qualifications
- Must be a certified welder
- Previous carbon steel pipe welding experience required
- Must be experienced with both TIG and Stick/SMAW
- Previous industrial shutdown/turnaround experience preferred
- Must be able to pass any required weld testing
- Must have reliable transportation and be prepared to work the full project schedule
