Maintenance Mechanic B Role Overview

Oversees and performs repairs on production facility equipment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Performs mechanical preventative and repair maintenance on all production equipment following written work order scheduling and verbal instructions from themaintenance manager.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and resolve issues related to the DC equipment and controls.
  • Understand and troubleshoot any issues related to the electrical phases systems.
  • Perform equipment installation and welding.
  • Records work done on forms provided.
  • Follows OSHA and company safety guidelines.
  • Identifies parts needed and maintains aninventory of parts in thestockroom.
  • Performs equipment changeovers.
  • Blow Molding experience

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED and three (3) years industrial maintenance experience.
  • One (1) to three (3) years PLC troubleshooting experience.
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience with electrical - such as Three Phase.
  • Experience with Blow Molding

  • Maintenance troubleshooting experience.

  • Three (3) years of Manufacturing Maintenance experience.
  • One (1) to two (2) years' experience with pneumatics.
  • Knowledge of Fabricating, Electrical, Pneumatics, Welding and Rigging.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot equipment problems.
  • Fluent Troubleshooting Techniques.
  • Good Machine Shop skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
