As we continue to advance in the dynamic field of construction, we are excited about the prospect of you contributing your skills and expertise to our team. Your role as a Warehouse Associate/Grinder will play a crucial role in a range of tasks to support the fabrication and welding processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Keeps the shop space and equipment clean, well-maintained, and organized.
    • Adheres to safety protocols for the proper storage and disposal of materials.
    • Actively participates in the manufacturing and fabrication of finished metal products.
    • Utilizes welding and fabrication techniques to meet project requirements.
    • Installs and repairs various equipment and components using welding and fabrication skills.
    • Collaborates with the team to ensure accurate and efficient installations.
    • Reads and interprets blueprints to understand project specifications.
    • Follows provided blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication and welding.
    • Calculates material measurements to verify compliance with product specifications.
    • Ensures precision in cutting, welding, and assembling metal components.
    • Conducts tests to evaluate the quality and tolerance of welds.
    • Performs quality checks to ensure products meet established standards.
    • Maintains a clean and orderly work area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
    • Adheres to cleanliness standards for tools, equipment, and workspaces.
    • Capable of completing work under minimal or no supervision.
    • Demonstrates a high level of self-motivation and initiative.
    • Adheres to safety regulations and wears appropriate PPE at all times.
    • Ensures that all team members comply with PPE requirements.


KEY SKILLS:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • AWS D1.1 Structural Steel Certification with FCAW and SMAW is preferred but not required.
