Job description

Clow is hiring Spot Welders/Assemblers to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you'll operate spot welding and assembly equipment to attach hardware and components to metal stamped parts while ensuring every piece meets our high-quality standards. You'll inspect your work, follow production schedules, and help keep production running safely and efficiently. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with machinery, paying attention to detail, and producing quality parts as part of a team.

Shifts Available:

  • Shift 16: 3:00pm – 1:00am, Monday – Thursday (+$1.25/hour shift differential)
  • Shift 21: 6:00am - 6:00pm, Friday - Sunday (+$3.50/hour shift differential)

Starting Rate of Pay:

  • $19.80 per hour base. Relevant experience may increase starting wage up to $20.80 per hour.

What You’ll Do

  • Operate spot-welding and assembly machines to attach hardware and components according to production specifications
  • Set up and configure welding and assembly jobs with guidance as needed
  • Monitor equipment performance, report malfunctions, and replace worn electrodes or tips
  • Inspect parts for quality, alignment, and adherence to specifications
  • Record production and welding activity in the ERP system
  • Follow all safety procedures and work instructions

Requirements

  • Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to read work orders and production specifications
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to lift, handle, and move materials as required
  • Previous welding, assembly, or machine operator experience is a plus

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Occasional lifting up to 65lbs
  • Bend, reach, and handle parts throughout the shift
  • Frequent handling of parts and machine components
  • Required PPE: eye protection, hearing protection, MET guard safety shoes
