Job Description:
TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc., has an opening for a Systems Engineering Associate in its Anderson, SC location that will work closely with Sr. Emergency Services Engineer and Security Personnel to learn the intricacies of maintaining a secure environment through access management systems and protocols. Primary Responsibilities
  • Assist in monitoring access control activities to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvements by providing feedback on access control procedures and suggesting enhancements.
  • Engage in structured training sessions and on-the-job learning experiences.
  • Learn to interpret and enforce access control policies in alignment with organizational security standards.
  • Configure access control parameters and troubleshoot basic technical issues under supervision.
  • Generate reports and analyze access control data to identify trends and potential security risks.
  • Provide courteous and professional assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors regarding access control inquiries and issues.
  • Respond promptly to access-related requests and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in security, IT, and other departments to support effective access control operations.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns related to access control matters.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies relevant to access control systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • A 2-year degree in an electrical or electronics-related discipline, additional education, or experience in access control, security, CCTV/camera maintenance, access control, networking, low voltage systems, and related fields is preferred.
  • Basic Competence with computer software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in access control and security management.
  • Basic understanding of security principles and concepts.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow procedural guidelines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Technical aptitude and willingness to learn new systems and technologies.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Occasional evening, weekend, or holiday work based on operational needs.

Physical Demands
  • Sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
  • Repetitive motion.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
  • Occasional lifting up to 50lbs - team lifts over 50lbs.
  • Able to work in various temperature conditions, occasionally may require outside work.
