Job description

Idaho Tents & Events, a premier party and event rental company in the Treasure Valley, is seeking a motivated and energetic Lead Foreman Tent Installer. This role offers the unique opportunity to work outdoors, lead a team, and play a crucial part in bringing events to life. As a part of our team, will enjoy a dynamic work environment where no two days are the same. We offer comprehensive on-the-job training, and a supportive team culture. 

Responsibilities
  • Drive 26-foot box trucks and/or truck & trailers to event sites.
  • Use trip sheets to accurately load trucks, complete deliveries & pickups, and conduct routes according to scheduled times.
  • Coordinate with our sales team for special requirements for event setups.
  • Inspect inventory and equipment for quality and secure them properly for transport.
  • Oversee the setup & takedown of events.
  • Supervise, train, and lead seasonal tent installation & delivery crew members.
  • Determine final setup plans per location/event.
  • Provide excellent customer service as the onsite representative of Idaho Tents & Events.
Qualifications
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Experience with driving large vehicles, including 26-foot box trucks and truck & trailers.
  • Ability to read load sheets and transport inventory with care.
  • Experience leading crews as a foreman or lead.
  • Experience with warehousing, quality control, and customer service.
  • Must be able to move 1 stack (50) Garden Chairs [357lbs]using a dolly 
  • Climb a 6ft ladder while carrying 25lb weight
  • Balance and relocate 4, 12ft (Red) Pipes [36lbs]
  • Dead lift pick-up 1,  20 x 20 Festival Top [85lbs]
  • Move a 350lb or 700lb Concrete Ballast using the Block Moving Dolly
