What is a weekly?

Weekly jobs typically refer to positions where work is scheduled, reviewed, or compensated on a weekly basis. This could include roles with weekly shifts, projects that are assigned and completed each week, or jobs where employees are paid weekly. These positions are common in industries like retail, hospitality, and gig work, offering flexibility and frequent pay periods. Weekly jobs can be ideal for individuals seeking short-term work, flexible hours, or quick access to earned wages.

As a Weekly newsletter editor, your primary responsibilities include curating and editing content, scheduling weekly email sends, analyzing reader engagement, and ensuring each edition meets editorial standards. Collaboration is key in this role—you'll regularly work with writers, designers, and marketing specialists to source stories, select visuals, and craft compelling subject lines. Staying organized and communicating clearly are essential, as deadlines are tight and teamwork ensures the newsletter aligns with broader organizational goals.
