Snowbird is situated in the middle of the Wasatch Mountain Range and is not only home to awe-inspiring views and mighty terrain, it is also home to employees equally as remarkable. Snowbird is continually looking for the best, those who share a passion for these mountains and the outdoors. Snowbird is a unique resort with distinct summer and winter seasons and offers full-time, part-time and seasonal positions.

TITLE:OktoberfestDishwasher- Weekends Only
LOCATION:Oktoberfest- Snowbird Center
STATUS: Part-time, Seasonal
SCHEDULE:Saturdays and Sundays, August through October 11th

  • $18.00 an hour, plus tips from the Oktoberfest tip pool

SUMMARY

As an Oktoberfest dishwasher, under the direction of theOktoberfestKitchen Manager, you work in a fast-paced environment andareresponsible forall dishwashing and general cleaning.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Meet all dishwashing needs to ensure the kitchen and dining run smoothly during peak business levels.

  • Keepdisharea neat and clean throughout service.

  • Maintainlineof communication between the Kitchen Manager and the Kitchen.

  • Maintain good safety and sanitation practices.

  • Be ready toassistothers if needed for food preparation.

  • Take fast andappropriate actionto solve problems.


WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE

  • 0-6 months of job-specific work experience withdemonstratedcompetence.

  • Must be 18+

  • Food Handler Permit.

  • Demonstrate competency in operating dish machines and using chemicals.

  • Ability to exercise good judgement when problem solving in the absence of the Executive Chef and Sous Chef.

  • The ability to interact at any time with guests and other employees in a pleasant manner andmaintaingood working relationships with others across all Snowbird departments.

WORK SCHEDULE

  • Specific Shift: 8:00am-7:00pm,Saturdaysand Sundays. Exact times varydailybut shift will fall within these hours.

  • Saturdays and Sundays from August15th - October 11th, 2026

  • Labor Day Monday, September7th, 2026

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Stress associated with high volume sales, heavy crowds, and high noise levels due to live entertainment.

  • Mustbe able to lift 30 lbs.

  • Must be able to carry trays and other items needed for service.

  • Must be able to stand forlong periodsof time.

  • Mustdemonstrateabilityto bend, kneel, handle, reach, grasp and perform repetitive motions.

  • Must havegoodbalance to ensure the ability to walk safely on wet surfaces.
