Job description

Summary
This is a weekend only Part Time position. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you play a key role in delivering comprehensive respiratory care and assessing patients with respiratory conditions. Responsibilities include critical care support, emergency room coverage, ventilator management, oxygen therapy, aerosolized medication delivery, and CPR/code team participation. You will work closely with the healthcare team to set therapeutic goals, operate diagnostic equipment, and maintain accurate documentation.

Minimum Qualifications
Graduate of an approved Respiratory Care Practitioner program. An associate degree is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
Licensure and Certification
Current active license from the Maryland Physician Board of Quality Assurance. Registration with the National Board of Respiratory Care. Current CPR certification. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required. ACLS certification required within six months of hire. PALS certification preferred.
Knowledge and Skills
Ability to understand medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology and clearly communicate this information verbally and in writing. Strong understanding of pulmonary anatomy and physiology as it relates to respiratory testing. Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity for equipment troubleshooting. Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
Salary Range: Minimum 34.62/hour - Maximum 57.19/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
