The work schedule usually consists of shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, which can range from early morning to late evening, depending on the employer's needs. This role often requires strong time management skills, the ability to work independently, and good communication with dispatchers or customers. Collaboration with warehouse staff or other drivers may be needed for loading, unloading, or route planning. It's an ideal position for those seeking part-time work or supplemental income with a flexible weekday schedule.

How much do weekends only drivers make?

Weekends only drivers typically earn between $15 and $25 per hour, depending on experience, location, and the company. They may also receive additional pay for overtime or specific deliveries, with some earning around $300 to $500 per weekend shift.

What is a weekends only driver?

Weekends Only Drivers are professional drivers who work exclusively on weekends, transporting goods, passengers, or providing delivery services. These roles are ideal for individuals seeking flexible, part-time work or supplemental income. Weekend-only drivers may work for ride-sharing companies, delivery services, logistics firms, or as independent contractors. Their responsibilities typically include following scheduled routes, ensuring timely deliveries or pickups, and maintaining safety standards. This job is popular among students, retirees, or anyone looking to work outside of traditional weekday hours.

To thrive as a Weekends Only Driver, you generally need a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and familiarity with local routes and traffic regulations. Experience with GPS navigation systems, vehicle maintenance basics, and sometimes a commercial driver's license (CDL) may be required depending on the type of vehicle. Reliability, punctuality, and strong customer service skills are crucial soft skills for this role. These competencies ensure timely, safe, and satisfactory transportation services, particularly during high-demand weekend periods.
