We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Surgical Assistant to join our growing team at our Holly Springs location. As a Surgical Assistant, your primary responsibility is to assist our team in delivering quality patient care through safe, efficient clinical practices, including proper instrument passing, monitoring, and supporting daily clinical operations.
- Patient Care & Preparation: Prepares treatment rooms adhering to prescribed procedures and protocols; takes and records patient vital signs (blood pressure, respiration rate, etc.).
- Surgical & Clinical Support: Assists providers with surgical procedures, transfers instruments properly, prepares surgical dressings, and takes dental radiographs.
- Monitoring: Monitors patients and vital signs during and after surgical procedures as applicable.
- Administrative Duties: Enters patient treatment data into the computer system, prepares consent forms, and provides post-operative care instructions.
- Safety & Maintenance: Cleans, maintains, and sterilizes equipment and instruments; maintains a safe and clean working environment in compliance with OSHA infection control policies.
- Team Collaboration: Works closely with colleagues and management (Azi Eshraghi and Brittanie Becraft) to maintain a smooth, efficient daily workflow.
- Education / Experience: Must have either graduated from a dental assisting school OR possess 6 months to 1 year of hands-on dental experience.
- Mindset: A positive, upbeat attitude, a strong commitment to teamwork, and a desire for long-term career growth.
- Hours: Full-Time, averaging 36 to 40 hours per week.
- Days & Times: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6:45 AM to 5:00 PM (Huddle time included).
- Days Off: Wednesdays and weekends off.
- Travel: Travel to other company locations is required only when the Holly Springs location is closed and assistance is needed elsewhere.
- Mileage is fully provided.
- If an employee works 5 days in a given period, an additional travel bonus is available.
- Bonus Incentive: Special bonus provided after a successful 90-day period.
- Uniform Allowance: $150 yearly allowance provided through Smart Scrubs.
- Benefits Package: Includes comprehensive Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, Paid Time Off (PTO), and holiday pay.
