Planned Companies – Pool Ambassador – Job Description

Schedule: Saturday/Sunday (10am- 8:00pm)

Location: East Brunswick NJ 

Pay: $20/hour

Summary

The Pool Attendant plays a key role in delivering a safe, clean, and welcoming pool environment for residents, guests, and visitors. This position ensures all guests have an enjoyable experience while maintaining compliance with facility rules, safety standards, and company expectations. The Pool Attendant represents the property with professionalism and attentiveness, helping create a positive and engaging atmosphere.

 

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional, friendly, and engaging service to all residents and guests 
  • Greet and welcome guests to the pool area, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience 
  • Monitor pool access and ensure all guests have appropriate wristbands or authorization 
  • Enforce pool rules and regulations, including restrictions on outside food and beverages 
  • Maintain awareness of guest activity to promote safety and address concerns proactively 
  • Promote available amenities, services, and scheduled activities within the pool area 
  • Assist with organizing and supporting poolside events or resident activities as needed 
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool deck, furniture, and surrounding areas 
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and emergency procedures at all times 
  • Report any safety hazards, incidents, or maintenance concerns to management promptly 
  • Support overall property operations and assist with additional duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to remain calm, courteous, and professional in a fast-paced environment 
  • Strong attention to detail and awareness of surroundings 
  • Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently 
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions 
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
