Once a part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary's campus, the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO is today the headquarters and curia (governing body) for the Archdiocese of St. Louis.

St. Francis Borgia High School, a Catholic college-preparatory high school, seeks a responsible, dependable, and safety-conscious Bus Driver to provide safe and reliable transportation for students. The bus driver will transport students to and from school, athletic contests, field trips, and other school-sponsored activities while supporting a safe, respectful, and Christ-centered environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a school bus along assigned routes and to athletic events, field trips, and other school-sponsored activities
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students during loading, transport, and unloading
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with state regulations and Archdiocesan requirements
  • Maintain accurate records including mileage, trip logs, passenger counts, and any maintenance or safety concerns
  • Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, school policies, and Archdiocesan guidelines
  • Supervise student behavior on the bus and address concerns appropriately, reporting incidents to school administration when necessary
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with students, parents, coaches, teachers, and school staff
  • Keep the bus clean and orderly and report any mechanical issues, damage, or safety concerns immediately
  • Maintain all required licensing, certifications, and compliance with drug/alcohol testing as required by law

Job Requirements:

  • Valid Missouri Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger (P) and school bus (S) endorsements
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass all required background checks
  • Minimum age of 21 years
  • Previous experience driving a school bus or commercial vehicle preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends
  • Physically capable of performing bus inspections and assisting students as needed
  • Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education; practicing Catholic preferred but not required
