Xray Technician

The Xray Technician plays a critical role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services within an outpatient clinic setting. This position is responsible for accurately capturing radiographic images that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients effectively. The technician ensures patient safety and comfort while adhering to strict radiation safety protocols and clinic policies. Collaboration with healthcare professionals and maintaining detailed records of imaging procedures are essential to support seamless patient care. Ultimately, the role contributes significantly to the clinic's mission of providing timely and precise diagnostic services to improve patient outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Valid state licensure or certification as an Xray Technician (ARRT certification preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience working in an outpatient clinic or similar healthcare environment.
  • Strong understanding of radiographic techniques, anatomy, and radiation safety protocols.
  • Basic computer skills for managing patient records and imaging software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with digital radiography and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
  • Additional certifications in specialized imaging techniques.
