We are seeking a skilled and compassionate X-Ray Technician to join our healthcare team in the Bronx, NY. In this role, you will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The ideal candidate is ARRT-certified, licensed in New York State, and committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

-> Key Responsibilities

  • Verify patient identity and physician orders before imaging procedures.
  • Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations.
  • Explain imaging procedures and answer patient questions.
  • Position patients safely and comfortably for imaging.
  • Follow radiation safety protocols and use protective shielding.
  • Ensure images meet quality standards to minimize repeat exams.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers regarding imaging needs.
  • Maintain imaging equipment and report any malfunctions.
  • Accurately document completed procedures and patient records.
  • Maintain compliance with facility policies and safety regulations.

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Current ARRT Certification required.
  • Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License required.
  • Previous experience as an X-Ray Technician preferred.
  • Ability to lift and position patients safely.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to providing excellent patient care.
