A seasonal, part-time Guest Services Representative job in Woodinville, WA is available at Chateau Ste. Michelle. As a Guest Services Representative, you set the tone for the winery experience and will ensure that every guest feels a positive and genuine connection with the winery. All guests should be greeted in a gracious, friendly, welcoming manner and this role must maintain an accommodating attitude as a representative of the company.

This is a seasonal, part-time hourly role that is eligible for tips. This seasonal opportunity generally runs from May through October, depending on business needs. This role requires availability in the evenings and on weekends to support our Summer Concert Series.

Guest Services Representative job responsibilities include:

  • Greet all arriving and departing guests warmly to create a positive first and last impression.
  • Provide accurate information about the company/winery to visiting guests, as well as over the phone.
  • Share precise details about our wine club and mailing lists while encouraging guests to sign up.
  • Handle cash, credit or check transactions for customers.
  • Operate POS/registers to sell wine, merchandise, wine club memberships and to collect wine tasting fees.
  • Wine shop line/crowd control.
  • General housekeeping duties to ensure the appearance and cleanliness of the tasting room are up to or exceed standards.
  • Assist with all elements of winery and private event set up, execution, and break-down as instructed by the tasting room management team.
  • Support management with the effective, tactful, and professional enforcement of various winery policies regarding guest use of the facility.
  • Various opening, closing and mid-shift duties.
  • Perform any other duties requested by the tasting room management team.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand, walk for extended periods of time.

Position Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • MAST 12 Class Permit and Food Handler's Permit required.
  • Cash register experience preferred with proficiency in Point of Sales (POS) systems.
  • Customer service experience required (retail/hospitality preferred).
  • Strong communication skills, customer service skills, sales skills and the ability to prioritize while handling multiple tasks is required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment as part of a team.
  • Must be flexible and available to work varied hours.
  • History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.


Your Compensation:

$17.13 - $20.05 per hour based upon relevant experience.
