Description
Salary Information: Minimum for Academic Year 2026-2027, $2,053 per credit hour, commensurate with education and experience.
Other Conditions:
  • For lecturer applicant pool, part-time, pending availability of funds and actual staffing requirements.
  • Must be available to teach courses online and in person, either during the day, evening, or weekend.
Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Teach assigned courses in Music.
  2. Maintain a minimum of one office hour per week for each 3-credit course taught.
  3. Prepare course syllabi and reports related to teaching and student progress.
  4. Work under supervision of division chair in integrating teaching efforts with other instructors in discipline area.
  5. As needed, work with multi-media presentation, distance education instruction, and teaching at off-campus sites.
Minimum Qualifications
  1. Master's degree in relevant discipline or significant industry experience for lecturers in Music.
  2. Demonstrated teaching effectiveness.
Desirable Qualifications
  1. College teaching experience.
