Job description

Provide clinical pharmaceutical care in a dynamic inpatient hospital setting, supporting a dedicated team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. This per diem opportunity in Oklahoma City, OK, offers a flexible schedule with consistent PRN coverage needed 3-4 times per week, including weekday and weekend shifts.
Schedule:

  • Weekday shifts: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Weekend shifts: 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM
  • On-call availability preferred (24/7 coverage support ideal)
  • Work collaboratively with pharmacist schedule and team needs
Responsibilities:
  • Perform general inpatient staffing duties, including order verification
  • Support and provide oversight to pharmacy technicians
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient care
  • Deliver clinical support tailored to patient acuity and care requirements
Candidate Qualifications:
  • Active Pharmacist license in good standing
  • Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred
  • Flexible and dependable with availability for PRN and on-call assignments
  • Strong team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
Systems and Tools:
  • Utilize WellSky pharmacy system and Pyxis automation to enhance workflow and patient safety
