Job description

Welding Quality Inspector – Fabrication

Pay: $22–$32 per hour depending on experience


This position is responsible for inspecting welded components and verifying that welds meet fabrication drawings and quality standards.


Applicants without welding inspection or quality control experience will not be considered.


Requirements

• Experience inspecting welded components in a fabrication or manufacturing environment

• Ability to read fabrication drawings and welding symbols

• Ability to verify weld quality and identify defects

• Experience using measuring tools and inspection equipment

• Reliable transportation to work


Responsibilities

• Inspect welded components to ensure they meet quality standards

• Review fabrication drawings and welding specifications

• Identify weld defects or quality issues

• Document inspection results and communicate with fabrication teams

• Ensure welding work meets required specifications


Work Environment

This position operates in a fabrication or manufacturing environment inspecting welded components and production work.


Preferred Experience

• Experience performing welding inspections in fabrication shops
