Pay Rate: $20.85 - $39.56 per hour. Starting pay is dependent on skills & background
Shift(s) Available: Day Shift - Monday thru Thursday, 10 hour days. Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, and on occasion different shifts with advance notice as needed.

The Pipefitter - Welder is responsible for fabricating, installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems and industrial process equipment in an active manufacturing and construction environment. This position performs advanced welding, pipefitting, rigging, equipment installation, and troubleshooting activities while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and craftsmanship.
The successful candidate will work with carbon steel and stainless-steel materials, interpret construction drawings and blueprints, install production piping systems, support capital projects, and assist with equipment installation and plant maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate, fit, assemble, and install industrial piping systems and plant equipment.
  • Prepare parts, measure, cut, lay out, secure, and weld carbon steel and stainless-steel materials using TIG, MIG, and Stick welding processes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, piping drawings, isometrics, and construction documents.
  • Assemble and install equipment according to drawings, specifications, and project requirements
  • Conduct field verification of completed piping systems and perform visual inspections of weldments.
  • Perform hydrostatic testing of newly installed piping systems.
  • Understand piping system flow paths and accurately track systems through drawings and blueprints.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with newly installed equipment and piping systems.
  • Participate in rigging activities and signal cranes during lifting and equipment installation operations.
  • Transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites and maintain tools and supplies in proper working condition.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum Requirements
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Ability to understand and effectively communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • Strong fundamental skills (math, reading, writing and verbal communication)

  • Strong safety aptitude
  • Experience in an Industrial Manufacturing setting and/or similar military environment (preferred)

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
  • Ability to move about on a work site by ascending/descending stairs, extensive walking, climbing steps or ladders, prolonged periods of standing and sitting, stooping, bending, kneeling, or squatting frequently
  • Ability to operate equipment or machinery that may be located at different heights with open view grating from multiple elevations or in confined spaces
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds overhead
  • Ability to traverse two (2) miles or more during the course of a workday
  • Ambient conditions - Work area is, typically, a non-air-conditioned production environment. Working in in extreme heat and cold in all seasonal elements, both indoors and outside on a regular basis.
  • Atmosphere: May come in contact with Dust (Peanut - known allergen), corn, cotton, canola seed, chemicals and odor
  • Must be able to work around vibrating equipment and noise levels that may reach or exceed 85 decibels and will require use of hearing protection for most of the work shift
  • Employees are required to wear all company provided Personal Protective Equipment (i.e., hard-hats, safety glasses, earplugs, uniforms, and steel-toed boots) in addition to job specific PPE requirements (i.e., fall protection equipment and respirators)
