Job Overview
The Lounge Bartender plays a vital role in guest satisfaction at the bar, utilizing their mixology skills, customer service abilities, and entertainment flair to provide guests with an outstanding experience. They expertly prepare and serve drinks, engage with guests, and enhance the overall atmosphere of the establishment.
What you'll be doing
  • Beverage Preparation: Skillfully mix and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and specialty drinks, while adhering to established recipes and standards.
  • Menu Knowledge: Possess an in-depth knowledge of the drink menu, including ingredients, flavor profiles, and presentation. Make recommendations to customers based on their preferences.
  • Customer Interaction: Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner. Take drink orders, offer suggestions, and provide a personalized experience.
  • Presentation: Ensure drinks are visually appealing and well-presented, using garnishes and glassware appropriately to enhance the overall drink experience.
  • Bar Setup and Maintenance: Prepare the bar area for service, ensuring that all necessary tools, ingredients, and supplies are available. Keep the bar area clean and organized throughout the shift.
  • Cash Handling: Process payment transactions accurately, manage tabs, and handle cash and credit card transactions. Maintain an organized cash register and provide accurate change.
  • Entertainment and Engagement: Provide entertainment and engage with customers by offering recommendations and creating a lively atmosphere. Tend to guests at the bar, making them feel welcomed and valued.
