Warehouse Associate

This position is responsible for receiving palletized freight, putting it away in rack and shaping the same. Majority of the time is spent on Material Handling equipment. Occasional lifting of materials and product up to 30 pounds. Load and unload trucks. Prepares order to picked up by either customers or trucking companies. Pick orders. Label boxes. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted. Hourly Pay: $20.00

Position Requirements: High School Diploma or G.E. D Must be 18 years or age or older Job Knowledge: Understands duties and responsibilities, has necessary job knowledge, has necessary technical skills, understands company mission /values, keeps job knowledge current, is in command of critical issues. Dependability: Meets commitments, works independently, accepts accountability; handles change, sets personal standards, stays focused under pressure, and meets attendance/punctuality requirements. Product Knowledge: Understands product and relevant product line, understands customer's needs, and product handling/storage requirements. Productivity: Manages a fair workload, volunteers for additional work, prioritizes tasks, develops good work procedures, manages time well, and accurately handles work flow. Teamwork: Meets group deadlines and responsibilities, listen to others and values opinions, helps department leads meet goals, welcome newcomers and promotes a team atmosphere.
