Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Forklift Driver to join our team in Glendale Heights, Illinois. This individual will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of freight, loading and unloading trailers, and ensuring accurate inventory tracking. Pay, Schedule, and Location
  • Starting at $20/hour

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate various powered industrial trucks (e.g., Sit-down, Stand-up, Reach Truck, or Cherry Picker) to move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
  • Loading & Unloading: Efficiently load outbound trailers and unload inbound shipments, ensuring all freight is handled with care to prevent damage.
  • Inventory Control: Use RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track, pick, put-away, and manage inventory accurately.
  • Staging & Prep: Palletize, shrink-wrap, and stage freight in designated areas for shipping or storage.
  • Safety & Compliance: Perform daily pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections. Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies.
  • Facility Maintenance: Keep your workspace, aisles, and staging areas clean and organized, contributing to a safe working environment.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating a forklift in a high-volume warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • Certification: Current forklift certification is highly preferred (company recertification/training will be provided).
  • Technical Skills: Experience using RF scanners and basic familiarity with inventory control software.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs unassisted. Must be able to sit, stand, and bend for extended periods.
