Capital Electric has a Warehouse Associate position available at our Charleston, SC location. A Warehouse Associate for Capital Electric is responsible for getting customer orders ready for pick-up, unloading and loading of transfer trucks, properly checking in material, and keeping the warehouse stocked in an orderly fashion to help the branch maintain being the electrical distributor of choice in their area.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Pulling stock and organizing customer orders
โ€ข Pulling and cutting wire
โ€ข Unloading and loading of CLS transfer trucks with or without forklift
โ€ข Checking, recording, and putting up stock/material
โ€ข Preparing cross dock deliveries
โ€ข Will call
โ€ข Keep warehouse organized and clean
โ€ข Help other associates when needed
โ€ข Follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision
โ€ข Be on time and work diligently with co-workers or alone
โ€ข Multi-task and continually prioritize tasks to be completed throughout the day
โ€ข Other duties as required
Requirements:
โ€ข Good attendance and tardiness history
โ€ข Ability to perform accurate work and pay close attention to details
โ€ข Positive attitude and team player
โ€ข Must be flexible and able to multi-task on a regular basis
โ€ข Use of a forklift will be required.
