Overview
As a Warehouse Team Member, you will play a crucial role that directly impacts the success of Chick-fil-A restaurants. Duties include unloading, picking and loading product at the Chick-fil-A Supply Columbia Distribution Center in West Columbia, SC. Chick-fil-A Supply strives to be the most caring distribution center in the world with scheduling, pay and benefits that demonstrate care for our team members.
Chick-fil-A Supply is a distribution service provider focused entirely on serving the unique needs of Chick-fil-A® restaurants. We are in the early stages of development and is a dynamic, fast-paced work environment focused on launching this new service to Restaurants across the nation and we're looking for the best Team Members in our industry! Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday from 7 AM to 5:30PM or until the work is done:
  • 4 Day Workweek (4 10-hour days)
  • The schedule will be assigned according to business needs, and flexibility is needed during weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.

Pay: Starting at $20.75/hour

Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Associate, you are a key driver in the efficiency, organization, and cleanliness of the warehouse.
  • Efficiency and Organization: You'll be on your feet, actively engaging with unloading, staging, picking and loading products.
  • Safety First: Safely operating machinery like forklifts and pallet jacks and keeping our warehouse clean and safe.
  • Communication and Care: Connecting with care with everyone you come in contact with.

Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)
    • Extreme Temperature: Working in rotation through extreme temperatures (-10F to 100F) is required to keep our food safe!
    • Heavy Weights: Reach, bend, and stoop while lifting up to 65 pounds per case during most of your shift. Occasionally you will use mechanical assistance to move up to 2,000 pounds.
    • Education: High School Diploma or GED
    • Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking): to safely follow verbal instructions, complete documentation and paperwork, and accurately interpret labels, pick lists, scanner prompts, signage, and company communications.

Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)
  • Working in a warehouse and/or material handling is preferred but not required, and previous work in food distribution is a plus.
