Job description

DEPARTMENT: Distribution & Transportation

REPORTS TO: Supervisor, Warehouse

LOCATION: Arc'One Distribution Center

Your Opportunity at Arc'teryx:

As a Distribution Center General Associate, you assist in all operations (receiving, shipping, returns and value-added services) in the Distribution Center. You work with a team of supervisors and associates to ensure deadlines and safety standards are met. You are a quick and adaptable learner with excellent attention to detail, and you efficiently move goods while maintaining an organized workspace.

If you were in the Distribution Center General Associate role now, here are some of the core activities you would be responsible for:
  • Receiving finished goods according to vendor purchase order and accurately record information electronically

  • Visually checking product to ensure that it is in proper working condition and is not damaged and places incoming items in inventory

  • Replenishing stock, organizing picking bin locations and racking levels by set requirements

  • Picking products accurately from picking bins by following orders from processor

  • Packing and weighing orders; loading, unloading, sorting and moving products and materials manually and using material handling equipment

  • Helping prepare shipping and other related documents

  • Ensuring proper daily storage and maintenance of equipment

  • Ensuring workplace health and safety requirements are met and takes responsibility for the stock security, cleanliness and organization of the warehouse

  • Assisting in maintaining 5S practices

  • Performing other duties as assigned

  • You have strong English verbal and written communication skills

  • You have working knowledge of Windows, Outlook, Excel and ERP systems

  • You have high attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and flexibility

$22.40 - $24.90 an hour
The starting pay for distribution workers is CAD$22.40 hourly at the time of this posting, with a reasonable estimated pay range of CAD$22.40 - $24.90 within 12 months upon skill assessment.  
 
Please note that the range details above reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program and benefits that we offer.
