We are seeking a versatile forklift operator to join our tight-knit, fast-paced team in North Kingstown. In this role, you won't just sit on a machine all day—you will actively dive into all aspects of warehouse operations to keep our facility clean, organized, and running efficiently. Responsibilities Include:- Forklift Operation: Safely and efficiently operate a sit-down forklift to move materials, including preservatives and industrial goods, throughout the facility.
- All-Hands Labor: Function as an adaptable material handler, pivoting from machinery to manual labor seamlessly—loading, unloading, sorting, and staging inventory as needed to support a small team.
- Facility Organization: Actively participate in keeping the warehouse impeccably clean, highly organized, and safe for daily operations.
- Production Support: Fill in wherever needed across the floor to ensure the fast-paced daily schedule of our industrial manufacturing processes is met.
- Compliance Protocol: Maintain strict adherence to internal safety standards, inventory tracking systems, and federal labor/operational guidelines.
- Machinery Expertise: Proven experience operating a sit-down forklift as a skilled forklift operator.
- Versatile Experience: Prior success working as a material handler within a high-output manufacturing environment.
- Language: Must be fluent in English (written and verbal) for safety coordination and team communication.
- Legal Compliance: Must meet ITAR requirements (Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident).
