About the Role

Aโ€1 Restaurant Supply is seeking a reliable, hardworking Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate to join our Providence team. This role involves delivering commercial restaurant equipment, assisting with loading/unloading, and supporting daily warehouse operations. You must be comfortable with heavy lifting, driving box trucks, and interacting professionally with customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver commercial restaurant equipment to customers across RI, MA, and CT
  • Load and unload equipment (often 2โ€“3 person deliveries)
  • Secure equipment safely for transport
  • Obtain customer signatures and document deliveries
  • Assist with warehouse operations:
    • Receiving shipments
    • Organizing inventory
    • Staging orders
    • Maintaining a clean, safe warehouse
  • Perform basic truck checks (fuel, fluids, cleanliness)
  • Communicate professionally with customers and office staff

Requirements

  • Valid driverโ€™s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 75โ€“100 lbs repeatedly
  • Experience driving 16โ€“26 ft box trucks preferred
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Warehouse or delivery experience a plus
  • Must be able to work in a fastโ€paced environment
