Job description

Job Summary

The Warehouse (Picker-Builder) willassist in all warehouse activities including, but not limited to, loading, unloading, stocking,and sequencing all products while maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Be familiar with all Company products and packaging.

  1. Report all damagedproductand equipmentto immediatesupervisor.

  1. Pull product and build each load as directed via the voice-pick system. Pull and load the exact amount asstatedand verify picks using scanner

  1. Ensure loads (keg routes, package routes, bottle routes,special events, etc.) are done accurately and neatly with stop and load sequenceaffixed toeach pallet.

  1. Visually inspect all cases loaded to ensure they are in saleable condition. Be aware of code dates and load the oldest product first.

  1. Navigate pick area safelyto prevent damageto product and equipment. Review each completedpalletand make sure it can be counted without having to move any product. Upon completion ofeach pallet, weigh for accuracy and wrap for loading.

  1. Ensure proper organization, cleanliness,and rotation of the package storage area, draught storage, staging,and racking.

  1. Correctly stack products in compliance with Company standard operating procedures.

  1. Prior to the end of shift, ensure all empty pallets are removed from the pick area and areproperly stored. Sweep, mop, clean up "breakers," and restockpickarea before leaving; keepworkarea clean.

  1. Operate equipment, such aswalkie-rider, safely and sensibly. Take responsibility by adhering to rules of operation of Company equipment ensuring the safety of self and other employees.

  1. Maintain assignedwalkie-rider andassigned handheld and scanner in compliance with Company procedures.

  1. Report to work on time. At the end of each shift, report toSupervisorprior to departure.Obtain Supervisor approval prior to working in excess of regularly scheduled hours.

  1. Responsible for ensuring all time worked is properly and accurately recordedutilizingtheappropriate, designated modes of timekeeping.

  1. Maintain open and clear communications with the owners,managers,and other employees oftheCompany.

  1. Comply withall relevant company policies and procedures outlined in the KEG 1Iowa, LLCEmployee Handbook.

  1. Conduct all activitiesin accordancewithlocal, state,and federal liquor control regulations.
