At Kirby Risk, our Warehouse Associates play a critical role in keeping materials moving accurately and efficiently to support our customers and operations. In this role, you will also serve as a Backup Delivery Driver as needed.
What Youโll Do as a Warehouse Associate

In this role, youโll support daily warehouse operations while occasionally assisting with customer deliveries. Youโll help ensure materials are received, stored, and delivered safely, accurately, and on time.

Youโll:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments for quantity and condition.
- Accurately enter received material information into the system.
- Follow warehouse paperwork procedures to ensure data accuracy.
- Communicate receiving discrepancies or variances to the manager.
- Process damaged or returned items and file freight claims as needed.
- Conduct inventory and cycle counts according to company policy.
- Move materials to storage or staging locations using system-directed tickets.
- Keep the warehouse organized, stocked, and well maintained.
- Support continuous improvement efforts to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Deliver freight to external customers according to delivery schedules and route assignments when acting as a backup driver.
- Perform all functions related to deliveries, including loading, unloading, securing loads, weight balancing, verifying manifests/order numbers, box quantities, and package condition.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- A High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- 1+ year of warehouse experience (preferred).
- The ability to push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Comfort working on the warehouse floor and climbing ladders up to 15 feet.
- The ability to stand for extended periods and frequently bend, reach, and move.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Talk or hear, both in person and by telephone;
- Use hands repetitively to operate, finger, handle or feel standard equipment;
