Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Delivery Driver, where you'll be the vital link between our company and our valued customers. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages, ensuring timely service, and providing exceptional customer interactions. Duties
Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks, step vans and other commercial vehicles adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Load, unload, and secure packages using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary, ensuring items are handled with care.
Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery schedules.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting recipients professionally, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience during each delivery.
Verify delivery details, obtain signatures when required, and document all deliveries accurately.
Assist with warehouse activities including stock movement, inventory checks, and maintaining a clean work environment.
Perform routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance issues promptly, and ensure the vehicle is always in optimal condition.
Requirements
Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with a strong focus on route driving and customer service skills.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles
Ability to lift heavy packages frequently and perform physical tasks such as moving boxes or pallets using pallet jacks.
Warehouse experience is advantageous for handling inventory and loading/unloading procedures.
Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques, safety protocols, and proper package handling procedures.
