Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for your clients by offering personal care, companionship, and support with daily activities. This position requires a nurturing attitude and a commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of those you serve.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Safe use of assistive devices including gait belts, transfer boards, walkers, wheelchairs, and Hoyer lifts
  • Provide medication administration as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
  • Perform patient monitoring, including taking vital signs and reporting any significant changes to healthcare professionals.
  • Offer direct support to clients with mobility challenges, including heavy lifting when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring that living spaces are tidy and free from hazards.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in conversation and activities that promote mental well-being.
  • Assist clients with dementia care by employing specialized techniques to ensure their comfort and safety.
  • Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to develop personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each client.

Skills
