Walker Methodist Care Suites provides 72 apartments offering expert care and services to residents as well as respite and transitional care. We serve individuals who need higher levels of assisted living and we are specifically designed to provide around-the-clock continuous care for both short-term rehabilitative stays and long-term residents.
Job Description

Walker Methodist Care Suites seeks Resident Assistants to deliver hands-on personal care to meet each resident's physical health and hygiene needs according to their individual care plan and under the direction of a nurse. The Resident Assistant will also perform specialized procedures including medication administration, medication reminders, accurate vital signs, simple wound care dressing and catheter care.

Assisted Living, Care Suites and Memory Care schedules are available and include working every other weekend.

Part-time:

  • 8:00 am to 12:00 noon and 6:30 am to 2:45 pm
  • 5:00 to 9:00 pm and 2:30 to 10:45 pm
  • 10:30 pm to 6:45 am
Qualifications
  • Current MN Nursing Assistant certification preferred
  • Available to work every other weekend
  • One year nursing assistant care experience in a long-term care or assisted living environment
  • Previous experience in medication administration
  • Basic computer skills with experience or ability to learn electronic health record systems
  • High-school diploma or equivalent
  • Sensitivity to resident needs and the ability to build positive relationships
